Our Story

Most jewellers source their diamonds from third-party wholesalers. At Svarna, we go further. Our in-house diamond cut and polish facility in Dubai allows us to select rough stones directly, oversee every facet of the cutting process, and deliver diamonds of exceptional brilliance and traceability.
This vertical integration is not merely a business advantage — it is a commitment to our clients. When you wear a Svarna piece, you can be certain that the diamond at its heart was shaped by our own master craftsmen, graded to the highest international standards, and set with the care that only true ownership of the process can guarantee.
The Process
The Journey of a Diamond
Each stone passes through six meticulous stages before it earns the right to bear the Svarna name.
Rough Stone Selection
Our gemologists hand-select rough diamonds from trusted, ethically certified sources. Every stone is evaluated for clarity, crystal structure, and potential yield before it enters our factory.
Planning & Mapping
Using advanced 3D scanning technology, our master cutters map each rough stone to determine the optimal cut — maximising brilliance while preserving as much carat weight as possible.
Cleaving & Sawing
The rough stone is carefully cleaved or laser-sawn along its natural grain lines. This critical step requires years of experience and an intimate understanding of diamond crystal structure.
Bruting & Shaping
The diamond is shaped into its intended form — round, princess, oval, or any of our signature cuts — using precision bruting wheels and hand-guided shaping tools.
Polishing & Faceting
Each facet is polished to a mirror finish on our scaife wheels. This is where a diamond's fire and brilliance are born — a process that can take days for a single stone of exceptional quality.
Grading & Certification
Every finished diamond is independently graded for the 4Cs — Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat — and certified by internationally recognised gemological laboratories including GIA and IGI.
